Simple and easy to install

This is a simple gadget for keeping your refrigerator items from falling out when you open the door. If you are like us, we load the fridge before we head out. That means that things are shifting while driving. With these simple little gates you save opening the door and having things fall out. The little pads have a adhesive on the back and you just hook the ends into the pads. That is it and it works.

Stick great, adjustable, needed these!

RV travels cause items to shift. This is a great solution for my fridge and will prevent items from shifting and falling out once I open the door (common issue). They are adjustable , width wise. They also easily slip out of their holder so you can remove them or swing them out once you're stopped. Really a nice product and well made. BUT...be sure to place the rod inside its metal sleeve on the adhesive holder before you mount it. I put the adhesive on slightly tilted on one of them and the rod wouldn't go in. Put the rods in first for proper alignment and adhere it while inserted because the sticky is very sticky. Great product.

No "tension" in the rods.

As mentioned in the title there is no "tension" in the rods. They just slide out and back to your required distance. The two end pieces stick to the sides of my rv fridge The rod ends slide into the end piece and it just sits. Make sure you know where you want to put them in your fridge as once they stick they are stuck. We have the ability to move the shelves but not the rods. The rods do help keep the basket from sliding up against the fridge door when traveling. Which keeps the things in the baskets from falling out on the floor the first time you open your fridge. So I'd say that these things are perfect for their application, even without any tension in the rods. My rv fridge is 10 cubic feet for reference.

Easyt to install and provide stability to items on fridge shelves.

The were easy to size and install in my RV fridge.Al i had to do was clean (with an alcohol pad) the mount spots and dry them. I pressed the mounts in tightly and they stuck on their own very quickly. The gate itself just slides in from the top so it can be shaken free. The system held boxed items well and cans pretty well.A good addition to an RV fridge so you don't have the Suprise of things falling out when you open it after a drive.

Finally a way to keep the fridge contents from falling out

My mother in law keeps her RV fridge contents secure by simply stuffing it completely full. I don't travel with enough stuff, so it was always a gamble of what stuff would come tumbling out after traveling and then opening the fridge after setup. These bars are a good solution to that. Secure the ends with the included double sided tape mounts and then the bars attach in place. They are not tension bars, as noted in the item description, but they don't need to be to function as I expected them to. Easy in and easy out. Will report back after a few months of use with how they hold up but so far, so good!

Great adjustable bars for a camper fridge

These rails are adjustable - they say up to 22.3" but there's a lot of flex past about 21". They are very well made and the brazing is top quality. Installation is very easy, just make sure you clean the surface well so the glue pad will stick.

Works great!

I've been using tension bars to keep refrigerator goods in place. They worked okay, but constantly moved around and were a pain to install. These are great. Super easy to install, stays in place, and takes little space when in storage.I wouldn't trust it to keep a gallon of milk in place since it is a thinner metal, but I wouldn't trust any of these on the market to keep a gallon of milk in place. It has had no issues with anything I was willing to throw at it.

Easy to install, keeps things in place while in transit

These tension bars are great to keep things from sliding out the door of the RV refrigerator when you open it the first time after traveling. They are easy to install once you get the paper removed from the adhesive backing. Then, just stick the bar holders onto the refrigerator side walls and drop the bar ends into the holders. Too easy! The bars are not heavy weight, but are sufficient to hold back what I put in the RV refrigerator. If you travel with full one gallon jugs sliding around in your refrigerator maybe they could bend a bit? And, to make life easier while parked for a while you can just pop the bar out and store it away until ready to travel again. I expect these to last a long time and will get another set for a gift for a fellow RVer.

Exactly what I was expecting

In our RV there's an open storage area above the microwave. The stuff usually remain in place, but not always. These bars are a perfect solution. Easy to install with the included adhesive pads. In my application they are extended almost to the maximum. This also allows one end too be lifted and opened like a gate. But if needed lift both ends to completely remove. The only negative is that they are sold in pairs, and as of yet, I haven't thought of a use for the second one.

Should be very helpful

If you like to go on rougher roads with your rig, like me, you know things in a standard RV fridge can really get tossed around sometimes, making for an unpleasant situation when you open the fridge. SO I thought I would give these a try. I made sure the wall inside the door was very clean, using alcohol, before I did the final adhesion. Hopefully there will be a lasting bond there, so far so good. I used masking tape to position these before affixing them to the wall, to test that the door closed correctly with some clearance. I have only had them on a week or so and for a couple of trips, so a little early to give estimate on longevity.

Great for broken fridge door shelf

I live in a rental, and the front piece of the fridge door shelf snapped off years ago. Tape was sufficient for a while, but now I've just been only storing plastic on the door and hoping for the best for too long. I can't figure out what fridge it is, so I can't order the actual piece, and this little device is the perfect solution!! It snaps onto what's left of the shelf piece (basically two slices of plastic on either side), and the fact that it's adjustable means I didn't have to get the sizing right before ordering. It's not the most attractive thing, but it works so well and is barely noticeable once it's attached and holding all my (glass!) bottles.

Very sturdy!

Easy to install and easy to adjust! We've been looking for a way to keep our items secure in the refrigerator in place in our 5th wheel while we travel. This fits perfectly and is sturdy!

Keeps fridge contents from exploding on rough roads

I installed these in my camper van refrigerator after a couple of messy fridge explosions while navigating rough roads. The rails are nicely made, with good neat welds. They slide on and off easily, and most of the time they can stay on since I mounted them low enough while still keeping the contents in place. With good surface prep the adhesive mounts stay solidly in place. I was extra careful and cleaned with isopropyl, roughed up with sandpaper and cleaned again before applying the stick-on mounts.

Just what I needed

These are exactly as pictured online and fit together perfectly. I've been needing something to keep my fridge from having a yard sale every time I open it after the travel day. It's so easy that it's adjustable too so it'll fit nearly any size opening.I think my only negative comment would be that it would be pretty much impossible to remove and reposition these since the adhesive is so strong. Good but bad. I think I'd prefer it to stay in place so not such a bad thing.

Not really tension bars

I think these bars are going to work quite well for our camper. I will note that they are not actually tension bars. They come with brackets that you stick to the inside of your refrigerator or whatever you're using them on with adhesive and then the bars drop down into those brackets They may actually turn out to be more secure than tension bars. Only time will tell how well the adhesive holds inside the fridge.

Simple, Effective

These tension rods are simple to install- stick the mounting brackets to the inside of your fridge or cabinet, then expand (or contract) the rods to fit the opening, and slide them onto the brackets- done. Very easy to put on, and take off, and they work great to hold things in place while the camper's in transit. When I get where I'm going, I simply take them off, and they're out of the way. I love them.

Sturdy

These secure bars were easy to install into the refrigerator in our travel trailer. They are adjustable, sturdy and are keeping the items in our refrigerator secure. I'm looking forward to having things stabilized while traveling next week. We will be going on a little bit rougher road. It will be nice not to open the fridge after we have parked and have things fall out all over the floor.

RV adjustable rods

The adjustable rods that we received are mostly as described. The product description uses the word "tension" which makes me think of a spring to provide tension and these rods do not incorporate any type of spring. Rather these rods/bars have metal fasteners that mount with sticky tape to the side wall of your cabinet or refrigerator that hold the bars into place. The width is adjustable and these are used to help keep items from falling out of an RV cabinet or refrigerator during or after a day of travel. I find that these are very useful for overhead cabinets so that items that have shifted don't fall out when you open the cabinet door.

will fit older style fridge door shelf

We have an older white model fridge thats been falling apart since we bought the house. but it still works and other stuff needed updating first, so we just been dealing. But the top shelf on the door, the brace on it came out, and was bent before we moved in... and it kept falling out so we just threw it away. Been using it without that shelf for almost a year before I found out these were even a thing. These install crazy easy... literally just stick the ends on, then slide the bar in from the top. Thats it. Just line the ends up and you're golden.Works to hold food in when the door is swung open, so I'd say they're strong adhesive.

Works great!

I put these in a mini-fridge we have in our RV. they work perfectly. I love that they can go in and out. It makes it so much easier to remove once you get setup rather than trying to work around a permanent rod. These are expandable to fit different widths. Love that there are two bars across so that bottles cant slip through the bottom. These are a must have to keep items from falling out when you get settled after a trip.

Well made, only time will tell how well they adhere

We have some spring loaded bars in our fridge but some items either slide under them or tip over the top of them.So when I saw these I thought they would be good to supplement our existing bars, and they are working well for that. You do need to make sure that the surface is smooth and very clean, use rubbing alcohol and iet it dry before you stick the mounting pieces on the side.I pressed the mounting plates and held them for about 30 seconds. If they fall off later I'll look at using 3M removable strips for the next go around. So far these are working as expected.
