Mroace Aluminum Alloy PVC Pipe Reamer Kit

The PVC pipe reamer kit is what every plumbers needs. If you can save just two 4" fittings then this will have paid for itself, making it an amazing value. I paired the Funnbie pipe reamer with a Milwaukee drill. In the photos I was using the 3in hub saver on ABS pipe. This is worst case situation you could use this in as abs is much harder than PVC. Let me tell you this thing cut the old pipe out and fast. From my pictures you'll see that it made a very accurate cut. The pipe fit back into the hub very nicely, giving it a good fit and making installation simple. The cut was very clean. After using the 3in hub saver it looked brand new with abs pipe dust all over it. It's super durable and obviously good quality. It's way better than any hub saver I've ever used from a big box home improvement store. It's faster, better cuts, the pipe fits better, will outlast them too. It even came with extra carbide bits. Speaking of that you can rotate the carbide up to 4 times before needing to replace it. Plus it's very sharp. I'm very impressed

For most home repairs or projects, this kit will work great. It reams out the selected diameter pipe easily and with decent accuracy and smoothness. I do use a bit of sandpaper inside to deburr and roughen up the carved out surface, but had no leaks with the test pipe I put in place. The depth of cut should be deep enough to avoid the slight misalignment angle that you can't avoid with a handheld tool like this. The cutting burrs don't seem super durable, but each can be rotated 90-degrees, and one of each size spare is included. The multiple sizes and "good enough" durability are a decent value and great for use around the house.

I'm going to be honest, I got this because I am a cheapskate lol. Now you may be asking yourself how that's possible with the cost of this kit? But hear me out here! The cost of plumbing is astronomical in my area. It's clearly a very well sought after field and I recognize there is a lot of skill involved in much of it. That said there are components of it that I feel qualified to do myself, in order to cut down on the invoice of a professional service call. That includes being able to clear out the old residue from the existing pipes so that it will be much quicker and easier when the professional arrives to just plug and play everything according to their licensure, that I am not supposed to do according to the county and my property insurance. So this represents a stuff that I can do on my own and have everything prepped and ready. This way I can reuse existing materials I have, or that I can acquire for free easily around my local marketplace. And I can have everything cleaned and ready and sorted to get the job done as quick as possible since every minute on the clock counts when you have a company being paid for their service. I've been looking into these kits and figured getting this size, would cover all of my needs current and future, as well as being something that would be easy for me to even rent out in exchange for snacks to friends as needed lol. So when you look at it that way, I'm incredibly thrifty at investing in a kit which is extremely high quality and should last a very long time, because it will not only save me money in booking plumbers in the future, but it also allows me to utilize free materials instead of buying stuff new, and it allows me to guilt my friends for pizza haha. The components here are super well made. The metals feel heavy duty and well molded ant the components should last a very long time and come in a very well organized case to keep them together so you don't lose anything. This was incredibly easy to operate, it should function fine in any drill, just make sure you are using the right size and start off slow so you get the proper alignment and go in perpendicular to the pipe with the drill, or parallel with the reamer and the drill if you're using a standard 90° angle drill that is. I suppose this could also work with a big Dremel and those types of devices if they have the ability to accept this large of a drill bit as well. This is definitely one of those by once and cry once scenarios where this has significant savings up front If you have a job coming up that needs done, but long-term value as well

This 6pc PVC pipe reamer kit is the right tool for the job in some cases! Before this, I've played the "can I re-use this fitting or will I break it" game too many times! It's always a headache and never works perfectly... but sometimes ots necessary when the other option requires breaking concrete! This tool makes it so easy to ream out a fitting and glue in a new peice of pipe! I can't even describe how much easier/faster this is... its amazing. If you use this 1 time, it'll save you more than the $56 price in frustration and time! Many times that if it saves you a visit from the plumber! It's a great value. The whole kit comes in a nice plastic storage case with cut to fit foam padding and a carry handle. Even the case feels nice and durable. The reamers have a sturdy steel hex shank, but with a lightweight & strong Aluminum head with replaceable carbide cutting inserts. The kit even comes with spare cutting inserts. If you are getting this for home use, it should last you a lifetime. Even if using this professionally it is built well.enough to last a long time. I would absolutely order this again without even a second thought!

I tested this on a 2" fitting and it did what I needed: it reamed out the old material enough that the pipe slipped in snugly. The tool fit my drill and removed the glued residue without tearing up the whole joint, so it saved me from replacing the fitting.

This kit is a total lifesaver for plumbing projects. Being able to clean out leftover pipe and solvent from fittings instead of replacing the whole joint is a huge money saver. The aluminum body is lightweight but sturdy, and it fits perfectly on my standard drill. Professional quality in a nice carrying case.

Could not wait to get there and try them out. This is a big kit and I was surprised by the weight. I don't have any plumbing projects right now but I got plenty of cutoffs and scraps. The diameters are on dead on. These for precisely hub fitting length of pipe etc. Easily to chuck em in a drill. They are surprisingly easy to control. Smart idea making the blades four sided and I appreciate including an extra cutter. If you've ever been in a pinch and needed to save a hub when you couldn't get one til the next morning you'll know just how valuable this kit is. Everything about this kit screams quality durability and ready for rough use.

This saved so much time. We had to rebuild our pool plumbing and this set lets you ream out the old connector from the plumbing and then install a new one. Well made and nice kit.

I’ve used them a few times since I’ve gotten them and for the price these are definitely worth the money. They cut out the old pvc nice and easy doesn’t bind up inside the hub. Great for when you need to reuse an existing hub.
