So many possibilities, blends nicely in single servings, small learning curve

This FastFreeze is my new favorite toy and spent some time with it before leaving a review to fully understand it. Currently making ice cream and fruit juices sorbet's but the best part is making it fun to eat healthy. I juice oranges off the tree then freeze the straight juice, a little blending later and it's absolutely delicious. It takes some getting used to figuring it out but once you do it's a lot of fun and easy to use. A unique design and different way of looking at making ice cream and treats. Cleaning is fairly easy but regarding the mixing assembly, when pushing it out to wash, I wish that it locked outward into place as it's hard to push out against the spring then run the sponge over it. Overall awesome device, fast, great functionality and good value for the price. I love it!

Great for individual servings

I had never seen an ice cream maker like this before, but with the Mroace name, I had a lot of confidence since I use a lot of other Mroace appliances. The product comes really well packaged. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep using the packaging to store it or not, but it would be convenient. It comes with three "cups" and the two pieces of the device. It also has an instruction booklet that gives you some recipes and directions for use. I decided to make ice cream first. I took a basic recipe and made two different things...a chocolate one with caramel and baby chocolate chips, and a strawberry vanilla one with real strawberries. You start by putting the recipe together and freezing it in the cups. Pretty easy. When frozen, take them out to soften a bit. Then you put the frozen cup on the bottom of the blender mechanism and put the motor into the top and push down. The directions said it would take up to three minutes to blend, but it went to the bottom of the mixture pretty easy. The first time, the consistency was like crushed ice. Not great. But we did it a couple times more to get a better blend, and it came out more like ice cream. It was really easy to clean, just run the bottom section under warm water. I think the best part of this will be that the cup is like a single serving size and you can make three different versions of ice cream at once. I wish there were more recipes, but I'm sure I can find some online. It will be fun making up my own ice cream blends. You can make sorbets and slushies, too, but I haven't given that a go yet. Overall, my husband and I like it.

Fast way to make small frozen treats

This machine is compact, simple to use, and makes frozen desserts in minutes. The presets keep things straightforward and the included cups are easy to clean and store. The texture comes out more like soft serve, but if you freeze it longer it firms up nicely. It’s not designed for large batches (probably a good thing if you're watching your weight), but for quick ice cream or smoothies after dinner it does the job well. I like that it’s quiet and doesn’t take much counter space.

Small portions but a lot of fun and everyone gets the flavor they want

Our kids love this thing. Since there are three cups/lids they get to choose a bunch of crazy flavors of ice cream and try them all. So far we've made classic vanilla bean, chocolate chocolate chip, and strawberry ice cream. We also made key lime pie and s'mores and experimented with strawberry frozen yogurt. You have to plan ahead so it has time to freeze. The portions are small but that's good if you want to try a bunch of flavors. Great family fun, and easy to use and clean. Would definitely recommend.

FastFreeze Ice Cream Maker

Pretty nice ice cream maker. It is pretty easy to use to make ice cream or sherbet or things like that. It makes really good tasting ice cream/gelato/sherbet. Its easy to use since the functionality is super basic and easy to figure out. The value for money depends on the person really. For me, I like ice cream but I want specific type flavors so it is worth it. If you are just a kind of vanilla/chocolate/strawberry person, then this might not be for you.

Amazing for making small portions. Not as loud as the creami but just as effective!

Works great and tastes delicious, but must wait 24 hours to enjoy

This Mroace FastFreeze mixer is very handy! It's lightweight, easy to use, and work great! The blade and housing are easy to clean. The 3 included containers wash well in the dishwasher. I've been experimenting with different ice cream recipes and ingredients, which is a lot of fun. I love that I know everything that is in my desserts! So far, everything has tasted delicious!
The two drawbacks that this device has are that you have to wait at least 24 hours for your dessert to freeze before mixing it, so there's no instant gratification or making something on a whim. The other issue is that it's too messy to add ingredients once you've started mixing. This set is not designed for bigger batches of desserts, but is perfect for smaller families, individuals, or small batches. Overall, the quality of the plastic, blades, and components are great; making it a good value for the price.

Convenient and Portable Ice Cream Machine for Quick Treats

This is an interesting little machine. I like that it’s compact and easy to take along, even on vacation. It comes with three containers, which makes it simple to prep multiple servings ahead of time and always have something ready. The included booklet has several recipes, and I found even more online.

It’s important to note that this is single-serve, which works well for individuals or portion control, but it’s not ideal for larger families. While it’s marketed as quick, you do need to prepare your mix in advance and freeze it for up to 24 hours before blending. In that sense, it feels more like a small, efficient blender than a traditional ice cream maker.

I do appreciate that it saves me from pulling out my full-size blender each time, and the extra containers are a nice bonus for keeping treats prepped and ready.

Beats the Creami (I have both)

First batch of ice cream eaten!!!! I own the Ninja Creami and couldn’t resist this one.

My comparison:
- containers are half the size or less, perfect for single serving
- much quieter, much faster!
- very easy to use. Doesn’t require lots of muscle or thought about how hard/fast to push
- blend not quite as fine/smooth. Gonna experiment with it a bit
- easy to clean, although pushing the blade out to clean takes a bit to figure out with just 2 hands
- Super easy to store

Ideas for improvement:
- recipe book is lacking. I’d like some basic rules to follow (max 1 cup liquid, no frozen fruit, etc) A note on alcohol would be helpful too
- max point on cups is a little up arrow. Needs a line
- super powerful motor. Could they make food processor or blender attachments?

Overall, fantastic for the price! If I were going to only purchase one this would be it, given the niche tool and usage it will get in my kitchen.
